STORAGE CLOSE TO THE APPLICATION
Liquid nitrogen where you need it
A cryogenic pressure vessel combines an insulated inner container with components for filling, pressure control and withdrawal. Vacuum insulation limits heat ingress. Internal pressure enables transfer to connected equipment.
There are configurations for liquid withdrawal and for gas withdrawal. When filling cryogenic equipment, the required liquid pressure, consumption and appropriate connection are key factors.
SELECT
Capacity and withdrawal
We match storage to daily consumption and the desired interval between fillings. Gross capacity, usable storage and delivery capacity are different quantities.
CONNECT
Pressure and components
Pressure control, level measurement, isolation valves and pressure relief each have a distinct function. The configuration follows from the vessel, medium and connected application.
USE
Installation layout and logistics
Placement, access, the base and hose connection determine how the vessel is used and exchanged in the room. Connection to fixed piping also requires coordination.
Which configuration suits your installation?
| Selection factor | What we document |
|---|---|
| Medium and function | Liquid nitrogen; liquid or gas withdrawal to suit the application |
| Storage | Required usable capacity and filling or changeover interval |
| Pressure | Required delivery pressure and allowable pressure of the connected equipment |
| Connection | Coupling, filling hose, piping and required isolation valves |
| Installation layout | Space, access, moving and daily operation |
Also for temporary use
For temporary requirements, we discuss rental vessels, connections and use. For existing equipment, inspection, maintenance and modernisation are part of BRAIN Service.
